World Kangaroo Day 2021: Online Screening

World Kangaroo Day is held on the 24th October each year. It's an opportunity to celebrate our beautiful and unique kangaroos and also to raise awareness of the terrible impact humans are having on kangaroo populations.

Loss of habitat, bushfire, drought, hunting and car accidents are all affecting kangaroo numbers. However, instead of protecting kangaroos, Governments sanction the commercial slaughter of kangaroos for their meat, body parts and skins.

Events are modified this year due to restrictions, but we can still unite in protecting kangaroos and educating others. This World Kangaroo Day, join members of the Animal Justice Party in an online screening of 'Kangaroo: A Love-Hate story", with an introduction by Andy Meddick MP.

Intro with Andy Meddick: 5.30pm
Movie Screening: 6.00pm - 7.30pm

Watch with a friend or encourage someone to watch who isn't a member; shine a light on kangaroos this World Kangaroo Day!

Please RSVP below and we will send through the joining instructions.
